I'm A Part Of The 62% Majority... Are You???

The momentum of the new Coalition Government is building, despite the attempts by the Conservatives today to demonize anyone who supports it as "traitors" and such. Thankfully the positive actions of people actually wanting to work together to improve this country, we have a chance to move forward in a positive way together. While the Conservatives can buy all the media under the sun with their deep warchest, we on the Progressive side we have something that they can never take away from us: The 62% Majority. That's right, 62% of Canadians, using the Conservative lingo, fiercely rejected the Conservative Party of Canada choosing various different Progressive parties instead. That 62% elected 162 MP's which is more than the 144 that the Conservatives have now. That is something that they cannot change.

Tonight the New Democrats have launched a website to give Canadians a chance to show their support for the 62% Majority. On the site, you can sign a petition of support for the coalition, get information on the Community Rallies across the country and the obligatory Facebook Group. So please circulate this information around to help Canadians be able to show their support for this Progressive Coalition, a Coalition of parties who have put aside their differences to work together.

You know, this makes me wonder: What are the Liberals doing to promote this coalition?

Heck, Liblogs can't be bothered to promote the pro-coalition rallies.

The 62% majority is a testament to Mr. Harper's ability to alienate every opposition party in parliament. Clearly, Mr. Harper is not a team player! My thoughts here: http://laurencehunt.blogspot.com/2008/12/im-part-of-62-majority.html
